Mangawari Presents a New Series – Malicious Code!

Ever since Last Exile -Travelers from the Hourglass- finished up, we’ve been looking for our next project and now the first chapter is finally ready!

Our new project is called “Malicious Code.” The series actually started about a year ago and I’ve been enjoying it every month. (That’s right. It is not a weekly.) Back in January, a group called ThePeelingPotato did, according to their blog, a teaser for the first chapter. They said they were going to start translating it for real, but have been silent about it ever since so I consider it fair game.

As far as a release schedule is concerned, we’ve decided to do things a little bit differently with this series. We are only going to be using tankobon raws. This means we will never actually be caught up to what has been released in magazine format. We have a few reasons for this, but I won’t go into all that. Right now, the first two volumes are available with the third on it’s way later in August so we have some catching up to do. We’ll try to have a new chapter for you every 2-3 weeks, so check back from time to time for updates.

With that said, we hope you enjoy the 46 page first chapter! It’s a good one, but having to clean EIGHT SPREADS IN ONE CHAPTER was not something I’d ever like to do again…

Enjoy!
